About Us

La Liberté French Institute is one of the leading language institutes in Pondicherry, offering high-quality language training through experienced instructors and a structured learning methodology. We provide German language courses for beginners to advanced learners, preparing students for internationally recognized examinations such as Goethe-Zertifikat (A1–B2), as well as Spoken German programs for study, work, and migration purposes.

We are looking for passionate and dedicated German Language Tutors who can teach students in person at our Reddiarpalayam and Lawspet branches.

Important Eligibility

This is an OFFLINE teaching position.

✔ Only candidates currently residing in Pondicherry (Puducherry) or willing to relocate immediately should apply.

❌ Applications from other states will not be considered.

Job Responsibilities

- Teach German language from Beginner (A1) to Intermediate (B2) levels.
- Conduct engaging and interactive classroom sessions.
- Teach German grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Prepare students for Goethe-Zertifikat examinations (A1, A2, B1 & B2).
- Correct assignments, tests, and practice exercises.
- Provide regular feedback and guidance to students.
- Maintain student attendance and classroom discipline.
- Conduct revision classes and mock examinations.




- Encourage students to communicate confidently in German.
- Follow the institute's syllabus and teaching methodology.
- Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions when required.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

- Minimum Goethe-Zertifikat B1 certification (B2 or above preferred)
- OR Bachelor's/Master's degree in German Language or German Studies
- Excellent German grammar knowledge
- Clear and accurate German pronunciation
- Good German accent and spoken communication skills
- Good command of English for explaining concepts to beginners
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students

Preferred Skills

- Experience teaching Goethe A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels
- Familiarity with Goethe examination patterns
- Strong classroom management skills
- Friendly, patient, and professional attitude
- Ability to motivate and guide students effectively
- Punctual, organized, and responsible
- Comfortable using PowerPoint, Google Classroom, Zoom, or other teaching tools when required

Experience

- Freshers with strong German language proficiency may apply.
- 1–5 years of teaching experience is preferred.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday





Flexible Full-time and Part-time positions available.

Weekend classes may be scheduled based on batch requirements.

Salary

Salary will be discussed during the interview and will depend on:
