Job Description: Manager – MEP Design Coordination

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Planning:

o Lead the design and planning of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV systems.

o Review and validate MEP designs and ensure alignment with architectural and structural requirements.

o Develop efficient and sustainable MEP solutions that meet performance, safety, and cost objectives.

2. Coordination & Integration:

o Coordinate MEP services with architects, civil and structural engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless design integration.

o Conduct design review meetings and resolve technical discrepancies between various disciplines.

o Support project teams during execution to address design-related challenges and ensure smooth implementation.

3. Compliance & Standards:

o Ensure that all MEP designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and statutory regulations.

o Conduct regular design audits to verify adherence to safety, environmental, and energy efficiency standards.

o Stay updated on the latest MEP technologies, materials, and design methodologies for continuous improvement.

4. Documentation & Review:





o Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and design reports prepared by consultants.

o Maintain comprehensive documentation of design revisions, approvals, and coordination records.

o Assist in preparing technical inputs for tendering, vendor evaluation, and project cost estimation.

5. Project Support & Execution Interface:

o Provide technical guidance during project execution and commissioning stages.

o Liaise with site execution teams to resolve design and coordination issues.

o Monitor progress of MEP works and ensure alignment with project timelines and budgets.

6. Stakeholder Communication:

o Act as the primary point of contact for all MEP design-related discussions.

o Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal project management teams.

o Present design proposals, technical justifications, and value engineering options to management.

Desired Candidate Profile:

· Qualification: B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

· Experience: 10 to 15 years of experience in MEP Design and Coordination within large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.

· Skills & Attributes:

o Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

o Excellent knowledge of national and international design codes and standards.

o Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other design coordination tools.

o Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

o Ability to handle multiple projects and ensure timely coordination across teams.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
