- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or Inventor
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Design Engineer to support the design and development of industrial automation systems and material handling equipment. The candidate should have experience in preparing manufacturing drawings, 3D models, BOMs, and coordinating with production teams for successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Design and modify Special Purpose Machines (SPM), conveyor systems, tanks, hoppers, and material handling equipment.
- Prepare assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and maintain engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, and Project teams to ensure smooth manufacturing.
- Review customer specifications and prepare design solutions accordingly.
- Assist in machine design improvements and value engineering activities.
- Support installation and commissioning teams by providing technical drawings and design assistance.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and engineering best practices.
- Maintain design revisions and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
