Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models
- Write advanced DAX and Power Query (M) transformations
- Design scalable semantic/tabular models and ensure performance optimization
- Implement RLS/OLS for secure data access
- Integrate Power BI with SQL, Azure Synapse, Databricks, APIs, and other data sources
- Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior team members

Requirements

- 6+ years of experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service)
- Robust expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling (star/snowflake schema)
- Solid SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes
- Experience with Azure data services (Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory)
- Familiarity with deployment pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouses, Direct Lake, OneLake) is a plus
- Knowledge of PySpark/Python, paginated reports (SSRS/RDL), or Power BI Embedded is advantageous
