Your Role: VP - Engineering

This is a rare opening.

VuNet's product vision and roadmap are driven by a Product Council — a cross-functional body that synthesises market intelligence, customer signals, competitive positioning, and our own long-term bets. Your job is to make that vision real. Consistently. At scale. Without excuses.

This is a role for someone who builds the engineering engine from the inside — sets the execution culture, raises the bar on quality,



and ensures that every release that ships delivers something a customer can feel.

You will lead engineering end-to-end: development, QA, DevOps, release management — across a platform that handles tens of terabytes of telemetry daily, runs in some of the most security-sensitive enterprise environments in the world, and is evolving rapidly toward AI-native and SaaS capabilities.

What You Will Own

Execution & Delivery Own the full engineering delivery lifecycle — from design reviews and sprint planning to sandbox validation, release readiness, and customer deployment. Drive predictable, high quality, on-time releases. Hold the bar on what "done" means — not feature-complete, but customer valuable, production-ready, and scalable.

Platform Scale & Architectural Integrity Oversee a platform that ingests and analyses massive real time telemetry across distributed financial systems. Ensure architectural decisions across distributed systems, data pipelines, microservices, AI layers, and security are coherent, forward-looking, and defensible. Drive engineering alignment across a complex, multi-track platform without slowing it down.

Engineering Culture — Lead From the Front You are not here to build layers of management. You are here to build a movement. Set the engineering culture by being close to the work — in architecture discussions, in design reviews, in release calls. Create an internal standard of craftsmanship and ownership that engineers want to live up to. Make velocity and quality feel like the same thing.

Cross-Functional Partnership Work closely with the Product Council to translate roadmap priorities into executable engineering plans with clear timelines and dependencies. Partner with Sales and Solutions teams to understand how the product is sold and deployed — and feed that reality back into engineering decisions. Ensure Delivery teams have what they need to make customers successful.

Future-Readiness Lead the engineering evolution toward AI-native capabilities — agentic workflows, on-premise LLM integration, intelligent diagnostics — and the platform's SaaS transformation. Bring engineering practices that are modern, adaptive, and ahead of the curve. Build systems not just for today's scale but for the next order of magnitude.

What You Bring

- 15+ years in engineering, with the majority of that time in product companies — building, shipping, and owning complex platforms in production.




- Deep technical grounding in distributed systems, high-throughput data platforms, microservices architecture, and cloud-native infrastructure. You can engage credibly in architectural decisions, not just oversee them.
- Proven track record of end-to-end delivery ownership — not just development, but QA, DevOps, release discipline, and customer value realisation.
- Experience operating in high-growth, high-ambiguity environments where you had to build the execution system while running it.
- A leadership style built on example and credibility, not authority. Engineers respect you because you understand the work.
- Strong cross-functional instincts — ability to work with product, GTM, and delivery stakeholders and translate between business context and engineering reality.
- Exposure to observability, AIOps, data platforms, or BFSI technology is a strong advantage. Experience navigating enterprise, on-premise deployment environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with SaaS platform evolution, AI/ML systems integration, or security-first engineering in regulated industries will be valued.
