Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Engineer to manage project billing, quantity measurements, contractor/vendor bills, and commercial documentation for construction and development projects. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring accurate billing, verification of work executed, and timely processing of bills in coordination with project, commercial, procurement, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and certify RA Bills (Running Account Bills) for contractors and vendors.
- Verify quantities of work executed at site against approved drawings, BOQs, work orders, and specifications.
- Conduct joint measurements with contractors and site teams.
- Prepare and verify Measurement Sheets, Abstract Sheets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Check contractor bills for accuracy, including rates, quantities, deductions, taxes, retention, advances, and recoveries.
- Monitor project quantities and ensure that billing is aligned with the actual progress of work.
- Review variations, deviations, extra items, and additional works and maintain proper records.
- Coordinate with the Project, Design, Procurement, Commercial, and Finance teams for timely bill processing.
- Maintain records of work orders, amendments, rate approvals, measurements, and billing documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of final accounts and settlement of contractor bills.
- Track project costs and identify discrepancies between approved budgets, work orders, and actual billing.
- Support the preparation of cost reports and commercial MIS for management review.




- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company policies related to project billing.
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve billing and measurement-related discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audit and future reference.

Candidate Profile

- Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 4–8 years of experience in billing and quantity surveying for construction, infrastructure, real estate, or hospitality projects.
- Strong experience in contractor billing, RA Bills, BOQ, quantity measurement, and rate analysis.
- Experience in handling interiors, civil, finishing, and MEP-related billing will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of billing software and ERP systems will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contracts.
- Valuable analytical, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
