Summary:

UST is looking for a Senior QA Engineer - API & AI/LLM Testing with strong expertise in API testing, automation, AI/LLM validation, and healthcare domain knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, validating AI-driven workflows, developing automation frameworks, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across API, database, and UI layers.

Job Description

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of API-driven and AI-powered applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, automate testing processes, validate AI/LLM outputs, and integrate quality assurance practices into CI/CD pipelines. This role requires expertise in healthcare applications, API automation, and contemporary testing methodologies.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for API-driven applications.
- Perform end-to-end testing across APIs, databases, and UI layers.
- Validate data extraction, transformation logic, and AI/LLM-generated outputs.
- Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for API and UI testing.
- Perform SQL and NoSQL data validation using tools such as DBeaver and MongoDB.
- Test AI/LLM-powered applications including chatbots, NLP workflows, and intelligent data extraction solutions.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Identify, analyze, debug, and track defects through resolution.
- Lead quality initiatives by reviewing testing strategies and promoting automation best practices.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance.




- Drive innovation by evaluating new testing tools, AI-powered QA solutions, and automation techniques.

What you need:

Requirements

- 5+ years of overall IT experience.
- Experience in API testing and test automation.
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM application testing.
- Strong healthcare domain knowledge, preferably in Claims, Benefits, Eligibility, Membership, or Provider modules.
- Experience creating test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required Skills

- API Testing using Postman and REST APIs.
- Automation using RestAssured, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
- SQL and NoSQL database validation (Oracle, MongoDB).
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and integration testing.
- Healthcare domain expertise (Claims, Benefits, Membership, Eligibility, Provider).
- AI/LLM application testing including chatbot validation, NLP, and data extraction.
- Cloud platform exposure (AWS and/or Azure).
- Java or Python programming knowledge.
- JSON, Web Services, Jira, and Confluence.

Desired Skills

- AI-powered testing tools.
- Cucumber BDD framework.
- CI/CD integration experience.
- UFT, Appium, or Power Automate.
- Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Disaster Recovery, Security, Vulnerability, and Performance Testing.
- AI & Machine Learning integration experience.
- Docker and Kubernetes exposure.
- Maven, Bitbucket, and Git.

Qualification

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
- Relevant QA Automation, Cloud, or AI certifications are an added advantage.
