Responsibilities:

- Develop, review I&C; engineering deliverables (Datasheets, Specifications, ILDs, IO Lists, Cause & Effect, Control Narratives).

- Ensure designs meet project requirements, international standards (ISA, IEC, API), and client specifications.

- Perform engineering design calculations for flow, level, pressure, temperature instruments.

- Size and select control valves, ON/OFF valves, flow elements, and safety-related devices.

- Prepare architecture for DCS, ESD, F&G;, PLC and SCADA systems.

- Review vendor documents for DCS/PLC configuration, communication protocols, and interface requirements.





- Participate in HAZOP, SIL determination studies. Prepare SIF calculations and support SIL verification.

- Lead a team of I&C; engineers and designers for FEED, Basic, and Detail Engineering.

- Coordinate with multi-discipline teams (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Piping)

- Manage deliverable schedules, quality, and ensure adherence to project timelines.

- Prepare technical requisitions, evaluate vendor offers, and perform technical bid evaluations.

- Review and approve vendor drawings and data sheets.

- Experience in attending Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).

- Provide construction support including field queries, installation guidance, and as-built verification.

- Support commissioning and start-up activities for instrumentation and control systems.

- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements in all instrumentation and control engineering activities.

Additional Skills:

1. Extensive knowledge and experience in instrumentation engineering, including instrumentation design, control systems, DCS, PLC, SCADA, ESD, F&G; systems, and safety instrumented systems (SIS).

2. Proficiency in engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, SPI-INTOOLS, AVEVA - E3D, SP3D, DCS systems (Yokogawa, Honeywell, Emerson, ABB, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.).and SCADA systems.

3. Proficiency in instrument selection, sizing, and design tools. Familiarity with hazardous area classification, intrinsically protected (IS) and explosion-proof installations

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors.

5. Familiarity with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) standards and regulations is a plus.
