Production

 To adhere shift plan V/s actual in machine shop.

 To check the Bincard entry in every machine.

 To check job card entry for every employee.

 To monitor run chart and tally sheet.

 To check rejection details.

 To conduct production capacity analysis and order loading, to plan the machine planning effectively.

 To ensure all the production people wear PPE while working in the line.

 To ensure produced quantity tallied with norms

 To ensure rejected quantity are hand over to concern section

Quality

To ensure quality production.

Analyse daily rejects in every machine & ensure necessary action, in consultation with team.

To ensure scrap is disposed in the correct manner, without any mix up with good pieces.

Maintenance

To ensure that, machines are running effectively and to ensure recovery from breakdown in the quickest possible

time.

Cutting Tools

Ensure that required tools are available for the line through your team well before production, to avoid stoppage of

machines.

To check the tool change frequency record is maintained properly and product qualification is done on every tool

change..

5’s





To maintain 5’s in whole machine shop and every machine and maintained neat and clean.

No unwanted tooling, gauges and other materials are kept in the machine side.

Dispatch

To ensure the machined products are accepted by QC before sending to plating or next stage of manufacture.

To maintain the material issue sheet for plating.

Compliance

 Strictly adhere to AS9100D, IMS, Customer Procedure, Work Instruction, Test Plan and etc., of latest version of

applicable clause/elements

 Achieving department / functional KPI’s

 Carrying out Internal Audit if qualified

 Contributing knowledge for continual improvement

 Developing the sub-ordinates to improve skill level

Kaizen

To monitor the kaizen improvement in machine shop like (Cycle time reduction, rejection & scrap control and material

handling).

Other Responsibilities

As assigned by management from time to time
