About the Role

Kaya Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our property in Pelling, Sikkim. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the overall operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments.
- Lead, mentor, and manage department heads and staff to maintain high performance and service standards.
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining superior hospitality and promptly resolving guest concerns.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, revenue generation, and profitability.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy, revenue, and guest retention.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Marketing, and Reservation teams to promote the property and maximize bookings.




- Conduct regular operational reviews and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and guest experience.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate employees while fostering a positive and professional work environment.
- Maintain the hotel's reputation by ensuring high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and service quality.

Requirements

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, budgeting, and guest relations.
- Ability to lead teams, solve operational challenges, and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to relocate to Pelling, Sikkim.
