Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in SolidWorks to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying mechanical systems and equipment, preparing detailed engineering drawings, and supporting manufacturing activities to ensure successful project execution.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Develop design concepts based on customer requirements and project specifications.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, and assembly drawings.
- Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and project teams for smooth execution.
- Review designs for manufacturability, functionality, and cost optimization.
- Conduct design modifications and engineering changes as required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and company procedures.
- Support fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly activities by providing technical guidance.




- Maintain design documentation, revision records, and project files.
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions with internal teams and clients.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Drawing, Sheet Metal, and Weldments).
- Good understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, and tolerance analysis.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design using SolidWorks.
- Experience in industrial equipment, gas systems, pressure regulator panels, manifolds, skid packages, piping systems, or fabrication projects will be preferred.
