Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Auto Transport Broker to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating vehicle shipments across the United States by connecting customers with reliable carriers while ensuring excellent customer service throughout the transportation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound auto transport leads.
- Provide customers with accurate shipping quotes and explain the transportation process.
- Negotiate pricing with customers and licensed carriers.
- Post loads on load boards and source qualified carriers.
- Dispatch shipments and coordinate vehicle pickups and deliveries.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers.
- Resolve customer concerns and transportation issues professionally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and repeat customers.
- Ensure all shipments comply with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM and dispatch software.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales and dispatch targets.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in the US auto transport or freight brokerage industry (preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and sales abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Familiarity with load boards such as Central Dispatch or Super Dispatch is an advantage.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations.
- Experience handling both open and enclosed vehicle transport.
- Ability to build long-term relationships with carriers and customers.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
