Purchase/Procurement

Supply Chain, Procurement Strategy and Quality

products. We are working tirelessly day & night to undo the wrongdoings of our previous

generations by putting the environment first and recreating clean skies. Our first line of product

is a biodegradable packaging material, as an alternative to conventional thermocol packaging,

made from crop stubble waste (“parali”).

We have partnered with Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad, Haryana for our

Research and Development and have a separate production unit of 16,000 sq ft in Ballabhgarh,

Haryana.

Responsibilities:

 Assist in the selection of appropriate suppliers and contractors, to promote valuable procurement

practice with due regard to sustainability, ethical purchasing standards and costing

 Draft an appropriate service level agreement to properly evaluate the performance of

suppliers, and report on this on a regular basis.





 Work with internal stakeholders determine procurement needs, quality and delivery

requirements.

 Responsible for order placement timing, supply / demand alignment, material replenishment

and supplier performance

 Responsible for Dispatch, vehicle arrangement, quantity supplied/pending, etc

 Monitor, evaluate and improve supplier performance, according to an appropriate Service

Level Agreement, on a continuous basis

 Control and monitor expenses against approved budgets

 Develop sourcing strategies

 Cost saving budgeting and targeting

 Set and plan how to achieve supplier accreditation and service level management

 Payment terms negotiation, optimization and management

 Maintain contracts with vendors

 Review inventory and update as required

 Receive orders from various departments

 Initiate and keep track of orders

 Reconcile or resolve order discrepancies with supplies.

 Monitor delivery times to ensure they are on time





 Maintain good relationships with suppliers and renegotiate prices on a regular basis

 Keep daily records

 Annual asset stock take

 Accounts to be submitted for payment to vendors on time

 Administration and reporting as necessary

 Make or purchase policy analysis and recommendations

 Lease or purchase policy evaluation and recommendation

Qualifications: - Graduation in any stream with 2 to 3 years of experience in procurement in

reputed organization.

Requirements –

 Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading”

the market

 Talent in negotiations and networking

 Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software

 Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers

 Experience in collecting and analyzing data

 Strong leadership capabilities

 Very good knowledge of spoken and written English

 Motivation, initiative, communication, presentation and problem solving skills, enjoy

working in emerging team

Work Location - Faridabad

Working Hours – 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM (Monday - Saturday)
