Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor with expertise in creating engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, and other short-form videos. The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling skills, a good understanding of social media trends, and proficiency in Filmora along with other professional editing software.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit high-quality short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
- Create engaging reels with smooth transitions, motion graphics, captions, and sound effects.
- Add background music, color correction, and visual effects to enhance video quality.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, viral editing styles, and platform algorithms.
- Convert raw footage into compelling content with quick turnaround times.
- Create thumbnails and optimize videos for different social media formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).
- Sync audio, subtitles, and graphics accurately.
- Collaborate with the creative team, content writers, and social media managers.
- Maintain brand consistency across all video content.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in Filmora (mandatory).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro.




- Experience with motion graphics and basic animation.
- Solid understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
- Ability to create eye-catching captions and animated text.
- Familiarity with royalty-free music, sound design, and color grading.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Canva for thumbnails and graphics.
- Understanding of social media content formats and best practices.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Video Editing, Multimedia, Mass Communication, or a related field (preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in video editing for social media or digital marketing.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a digital marketing agency or media production house.
- Knowledge of AI-powered editing tools and automated captioning.
- Basic camera handling and shooting knowledge is an added advantage.
- Experience editing podcasts, interviews, promotional videos, and advertisements.
