Senior Engineer: Mechanical Design, Hydrodynamics & CFDEducational Qualification

· B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or equivalent.

· M.E./M.Tech in Fluid Mechanics, CFD, Ocean Engineering or Naval Architecture (desirable).

Minimum Experience

· Minimum 8 years leading multidisciplinary engineering projects.

Hydrodynamics

· Closed-loop water tunnels

· Cavitation tunnels

· Pump systems

· Flow conditioning

· Pressure systems

CFD

· ANSYS Fluent

· STAR-CCM+

· OpenFOAM/CFX

· Cavitation

· Free-surface flow

· Turbulence modelling

Mechanical Design

· Rotating machinery

· Pressure vessels

· Structural supports

· Vibration analysis

· Bearings and seals

Key Responsibilities

· Lead mechanical and hydraulic design.

· Review CFD and validate tunnel performance.

· Oversee fabrication, erection and commissioning.

· Coordinate pump, pressure system and structural interfaces.
