Job Description – Malware Analyst

Role: Malware Analyst
Department: Cybersecurity / Threat Research

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and analytical Malware Analyst to support cybersecurity operations through advanced threat analysis, secure application development, and vulnerability research. The role involves working across mobile, backend, and system-level environments to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential security risks.

Key Responsibilities
Malware Analysis & Threat Research

- Perform static and dynamic analysis of suspicious files, applications, and system activities
- Identify malware behavior patterns, persistence mechanisms, and attack vectors
- Document findings and provide actionable insights for mitigation and prevention
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support incident response efforts

Secure Application Development & Analysis1. Wicket Watch Application

- Contribute to the development and security evaluation of the Wicket Watch application
- Manage and secure the Flutter-based admin panel
- Ensure secure data handling, authentication, and API security practices

2. Parental Control System

- Design and develop:
- Child monitoring application
- Parent control application




- Build and maintain backend services using:
- FastAPI
- MongoDB
- Implement secure communication, access control, and data privacy mechanisms

Security Research & Advanced Projects3. APK Binder

- Conduct research on APK structures, packaging, and integrity mechanisms
- Analyze risks associated with application modification and code injection
- Develop and recommend mitigation strategies against tampering and exploitation

4. System-Level Security (Windows & Linux)

- Design and test security tools for Windows and Linux environments
- Develop proof-of-concept solutions for threat detection and defense
- Analyze system-level vulnerabilities and strengthen endpoint protection strategies

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of malware analysis and cybersecurity principles
- Proficiency in Python (FastAPI preferred)
- Knowledge of:
- Android architecture and APK structure
- Operating systems (Windows & Linux internals)
- Networking fundamentals
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB
- Ability to analyze code and identify security vulnerabilities

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
