Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer with hands-on experience grooming both dogs and cats. The ideal candidate should be professionally trained in breed-specific grooming styles, safe animal handling, hygiene standards, and pet comfort techniques. This role requires someone who is patient, detail-oriented, and passionate about animal care.

Key Responsibilities

- Groom dogs and cats of various breeds, sizes, temperaments, and coat types

- Perform bathing, drying, brushing, de-shedding, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and sanitary trims

- Execute breed-specific haircuts and styling based on client preferences

- Safely handle anxious, senior, or special-needs pets with care and patience

- Identify skin issues, parasites, lumps, or abnormalities and report them to management/pet owners

- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized grooming area and tools

- Ensure pets are comfortable, stress-free, and protected throughout the grooming process

- Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding grooming requests and after-care advice

- Follow all animal safety and hygiene protocols

- Manage grooming schedules efficiently and complete appointments on time

Required Qualifications





- Professional grooming training or certification preferred

- Proven experience grooming both dogs and cats

- Robust knowledge of coat types, breed standards, and grooming tools

- Confidence in handling pets with different temperaments

- Ability to perform cat grooming safely and gently

- Knowledge of pet first aid and safety procedures is a plus

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills

- Experience with difficult or nervous pets

- Breed styling expertise

- Basic knowledge of pet skin and coat health

- Ability to recommend grooming schedules and coat maintenance tips

- Familiarity with grooming software or appointment systems

Pay: ₹13,552.55 - ₹20,000.00 per month
