- Design of automotive interior, overall interiors and components (Instrument panel, HVAC and SRS systems). This includes initial research, ideation and renders.
- Create 3D and 2D visualization.
- Create part designs with focus on quality and aesthetics.
- Work in collaboration with engineering, QA and other concerned teams to design and develop a vehicle interior
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Master’s degree (M Des) in Automobile design/industrial design/product design or equivalent
- 3D form sketching and renders generation skills
- Basic knowledge of surfacing and 3D modelling
- Knowledge of 3D software's like ALIAS, Rhina and Surfacer would be an added advantage.
- Study and benchmark to map future trends in Interior
- Mood board and concept generation: based on user research and benchmarking and trend mapping develop the Product design concept, mood boards for different products for automotive interior
