We are looking for a motivated Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in choosing the right courses/programs offered by our EdTech platform. The role involves understanding student needs, providing personalized counselling, and driving enrollments.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students via calls, video sessions, chat, or in-person meetings
- Understand students’ academic background, career goals, and preferences
- Recommend suitable courses/programs based on their needs
- Explain course details, curriculum, pricing, and career outcomes
- Handle inbound and outbound leads generated through marketing campaigns
- Follow up consistently to convert leads into enrollments
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
- Achieve weekly/monthly enrollment targets
- Stay updated with course offerings and industry trends
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good convincing and negotiation abilities
- Active listening and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of sales processes
- Familiarity with CRM tools (preferred)
- Ability to work in a target-driven setting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (any field)
- 0–3 years of experience in counselling, sales, or EdTech (freshers can apply)
Preferred Background
- Experience in EdTech companies or education counselling
- Exposure to inside sales or telesales

- Lead-to-enrollment conversion rate
- Number of enrollments per month
- Follow-up efficiency
- Student satisfaction/feedback
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹10,337.03 - ₹20,484.59 per month
