Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Solution Architect (Pre-Sales) to be a key contributor in our Pre-Sales team. This role will work closely with customers and internal domain experts to understand business requirements, design end-to-end IT solutions, and prepare high-quality pre-sales and bid documents while ensuring that delivery teams remain focused on project execution.
The role demands strong hands-on technical experience, architectural thinking, analytical skills, and excellent communication in English and Hindi.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Business Analysis

- Engage with customers to understand business goals, functional needs, and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct workshops, requirement discovery sessions, and technical discussions with stakeholders.
- Analyze existing systems and processes to prepare AS-IS / TO-BE documentation.
- Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for business process improvement and digital transformation.

Solution Architecture & Design

- Design end-to-end solution architectures covering application, integration, data, infrastructure, security, and analytics layers.
- Define solution approaches aligned with customer constraints, scalability, performance, security, and cost considerations.
- Evaluate multiple solution options and recommend the most suitable architecture.

Pre-Sales & Bid Support

- Lead or contribute to preparation of:
- AS-IS / TO-BE documents
- BPR documents
- Detailed Project Reports (DPR)
- Technical proposals and solution write-ups
- RFP / RFI responses, including assumptions, risks, dependencies, and exclusions
- Support high-level effort estimation, timelines, and resource planning for proposals.

Transition & Internal Coordination

- Work closely with domain experts, product teams,



and management to finalize solutions.
- Ensure minimal dependency on delivery teams during pre-sales.
- Support smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery through structured knowledge transfer and documentation.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical & Architecture Skills

- Strong understanding of enterprise IT concepts, including:
- DBMS (RDBMS and NoSQL)
- Web Servers and Application Servers
- Hands-on development experience in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, .NET or equivalent)
- Application design patterns and coding best practices
- APIs and system integrations (REST / SOAP / event-based integrations, etc.)
- Microservices and monolithic architecture concepts
- Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP – architectural and deployment understanding)
- Containerization and orchestration concepts (Docker, Kubernetes – conceptual)
- Data migration strategies and ETL concepts
- Analytics, reporting, and dashboards
- AI / ML fundamentals and use cases
- Blockchain and IoT concepts
- Data Center (DC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architecture
- Security fundamentals (authentication, authorization, encryption, compliance etc.)

Project, Process & Quality Understanding

- Robust understanding of project management methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (manual and automated).




- Familiarity with tools used across development, testing, DevOps, and project management.
- Ability to design solutions aligned with realistic delivery models and quality standards.

Analytics & Problem Solving

- Strong analytical skills to evaluate requirements, constraints, and trade-offs.
- Ability to perform feasibility analysis, impact assessment, and risk identification.
- Data-driven approach to solution design and decision-making.

Communication & Stakeholder Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Good facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / IT (or equivalent).
- 9+ years of overall IT experience.
- 3 - 6 years of experience in solution architecture and/or pre-sales roles.
- Prior hands-on development experience is mandatory.
- Experience in RFP-based bidding and proposal preparation is highly desirable.
- Exposure to government or large enterprise IT projects is an added advantage.

Preferred / Added Advantages

- Experience in proposal estimations and costing models.
- Knowledge of compliance standards, security frameworks, or government IT guidelines.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor junior architects or business analysts in pre-sales activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,081,368.11 per year
