Key Responsibilities

- Perform stage-wise and final inspection for fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, blasting, painting, and testing activities.
- Conduct dimensional inspection for fabricated and machined components.
- Verify material traceability, welding quality, and process compliance.
- Prepare and maintain quality reports, NCRs, inspection records, and QA/QC documentation.
- Prepare documentation as per QAP and customer requirements.
- Handle customer inspections and coordinate with TPI/client representatives.
- Coordinate with production, planning, welding, machining, and customer inspection teams.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, QAP, customer standards, and applicable codes.
- Support internal audits and customer inspections.

Mandatory Requirements

- NDT Level-II Certification mandatory

* Knowledge of:

- PT, MT, UT, VT, and RT inspection methods
- Engineering drawings and GD&T;
- Material identification, Mill TC, and Material Identification Record (MIR)
- Welding documents such as WPS, PQR,



and WPQ
- Measuring instruments used in machining and fabrication
- Final dimension marking for machining and fabrication
- PWHT, blasting, and painting inspection
- Hydro test and leak test procedures
- Quality Assurance Plan (QAP)
- 7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis, and NCR handling
- ASME Section V (NDT) and Section IX standards
- Experience in handling customer inspections and documentation.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of fabrication and machining quality control.
- Ability to read technical drawings and inspection documents.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Valuable communication and coordination abilities.

Qualification

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience

- 2 to 8 years preferred in heavy engineering, fabrication, machining, pressure vessel, or manufacturing industry.
