Education: BE/Diploma in Engg.

EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years in procurement, sourcing, or vendor development in a manufacturing setup.

Technical Skills: Hands-on with MS Dynamics or similar ERP, MS Excel, and basic supplier scoring frameworks.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Analyze technical drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure the procured materials meets drawing specifications.
- Send RFQ, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Execute Purchase Orders (POs), expedite materials, and manage inventory levels to prevent production delays.
- Monitor supplier performance (vendor ratings), conduct audits, and ensure statutory and ISO compliance.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Finance, and Sales and Marketing, Service teams to align procurement strategies with sales requirements. Warranty management.
- Monitor supplier OTD, quality, and price trends; conduct periodic vendor reviews.
- Identify and execute cost-reduction initiatives such as alternate sourcing, VAVE, or volume aggregation.
