Study and review architectural, interior, structural, and technical drawings.

Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Prepare accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out and manufacturing works.

Calculate quantities of materials, manpower, machinery, transportation, installation, and other project-related costs.

Prepare costing for modular furniture, metal furniture, aluminum works, UPVC works, doors, windows, partitions, false ceilings, flooring, electrical, civil, and other interior works.

Analyze material requirements and obtain current prices from the Purchase Department and approved suppliers.

Coordinate with the Design, Production, Purchase, Projects, Finance, and Site teams to ensure accurate costing.

Prepare quotations and commercial proposals for clients and project tenders.

Compare supplier and subcontractor quotations and evaluate rates.

Calculate labor costs, overheads, transportation costs, wastage, and other applicable expenses.

Add appropriate profit margins and prepare final selling prices as per company guidelines.

Conduct rate analysis for materials, labor, fabrication, installation, and subcontracting works.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and project requirements.

Review project scope and identify exclusions, assumptions, and potential cost risks.

Prepare revised estimates based on design changes, client requirements, and variation orders.





Maintain proper records of project estimates, quotations, BOQs, rate analysis, and costing data.

Support the project and management teams in budget planning and cost control.

Participate in pre-bid meetings and clarification discussions when required.

Assist in analyzing actual project costs against estimated costs to improve future estimation accuracy.

Ensure all estimates and quotations are submitted within the required deadlines.

Skills required

Robust knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity take-off.

Knowledge of material rates and construction/interior industry pricing.

Proficiency in MS Excel and other estimation/costing tools.

Knowledge of AutoCAD for reading and interpreting drawings.

Familiarity with ERP or project management software is an advantage.

Ability to prepare detailed rate analysis and project cost sheets.

Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.

Qualification & experience

Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Interior Design, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in interior contracting, interior manufacturing, construction, quantity surveying, or estimation and costing.

Experience in modular furniture and metal furniture costing is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹15,687.91 - ₹30,031.98 per month
