Role: QA Tools & Test Environment Support Lead (Jira, Spira & Test Data Management)

Function: QA / Test Engineering / Program Support

Role Summary

Provide end-to-end support for test management tools (Jira, Spira), test environment coordination, and test data readiness to ensure seamless execution of SIT, UAT, and integration testing across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Jira & Spira Tool Administration and Support

- Configure and maintain Jira project structures (Epics, Stories, Tasks)
- Support Jira-Spira integration for test case traceability and execution
- Ensure end-to-end traceability:
- - Requirements Stories Test Cases Defects

- Manage workflows, statuses, and custom fields aligned to QA Playbook
- Support issue lifecycle management:
- - Defect triage
- Status tracking
- SLA adherence

- Maintain linkage for dependencies (blocks, blocked by) across teams
- Provide user onboarding, access management, and training

2. Test Environment Management

- Coordinate availability of test environments (SIT, UAT, Pre-prod)
- Maintain environment calendar / schedule
- Support test execution readiness and dry runs

3. Test Data Management (TDM)

- Define and manage test data strategy across SIT / UAT phases
- Coordinate test data creation, refresh, masking, and provisioning
- Ensure data availability aligned with test scenarios
- Support:
- - Cross-system data setup (e.g., CPQ ERP Billing flow)
- Data dependencies across modules

4. Test Execution & QA Support

- Enable teams with:
- - Test case mapping in Spira
- Execution tracking
- Defect logging via Jira





- Support daily test execution tracking & reporting
- Ensure alignment with QA Playbook / processes

5. Reporting & Governance

- Make sure daily / weekly QA dashboards:
- - Test execution progress
- Defect status
- Environment readiness

- Provide traceability and audit readiness
- Support program governance reviews

Required Skills & Experience

Tools & Technology

- Solid experience in:
- - Jira (issue management, workflows, dashboards)
- Spira (test management & integration)

Functional & QA Skills

- Knowledge of:
- - SIT / UAT lifecycle
- Defect lifecycle management
- Requirements traceability

- Experience in:
- - Test data preparation & management
- Environment coordination
- Dependency tracking across teams

Collaboration

- Ability to coordinate with:
- - QA Teams
- Dev / DevOps
- Business / UAT Teams
- Integration Teams

- Strong communication & stakeholder management
