We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Safety Officer to support the implementation of health and safety standards across construction sites. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the construction industry and a robust understanding of workplace safety regulations, hazard identification, and accident prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
- Ensure workers use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist in conducting safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training for workers and staff.
- Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, incident reports, and safety documentation.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company safety policies.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors,
and contractors to address safety concerns.
- Monitor housekeeping practices and ensure safe storage of materials and equipment.
- Assist in emergency preparedness activities, including mock drills and evacuation procedures.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the project site.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a recognized Safety qualification (such as Diploma/Certificate in Industrial Safety or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Safety Officer or Junior Safety Officer in the construction industry.
- Good knowledge of construction safety practices, risk assessment, and hazard control.
- Familiarity with applicable safety regulations and statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.
- Good communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
