Minkasu, Inc. an cutting-edge mobile payments company based in Silicon Valley, California, USA, is looking for a VP, Engineering to lead our engineering team in India. MinkasuPay is the first biometric authentication solution for India. You will have the opportunity to play a key role to architect and drive engineering for the core components of our mobile payments solution. You will be leading engineers responsible for different components of the solution. Responsibilities
- Manage the entire software development lifecycle (including design, development, testing, integration, delivery, documentation) using agile/scrum methodologies for our:
- Minkasu 2FA SDK for Android
- Minkasu 2FA SDK for iOS
- Transaction processing platform
- Transaction risk platform
- Dashboards & Billing systems
- Design mission critical infrastructure in AWS Cloud that supports our mobile payment solution
- Interface with the product team on new projects/enhancements/requests
- Present reports and plans to top management as required
- Hiring, training and maintaining a rock star engineering team
- Stay up-to-date on relevant technologies, plug into user groups, understand trends and opportunities to ensure we are using the best possible techniques and tools
Desired Skills/Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or relevant field, with a background in payments and security
- 12+ years experience in payment engineering:
- 7+ years experience managing software development teams
- 5+ years experience designing and developing software
- Successfully managed the entire software development lifecycle for multiple releases of mobile Apps/SDKs, backend services and web applications in AWS environment
- Working knowledge of Java, Objective-C, Node.js, SQL
- Comfortable with Linux, SQL/NoSQL databases, GitHub, JIRA
- Excellent communication, leadership and project management skills
