Vice President – Operations (Manufacturing – Automotive)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Vice President – Operations to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for an automotive components manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operational excellence, plant management, manufacturing processes, and team leadership, with a strong background in Tier-1/Tier-2 automotive suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead overall manufacturing operations to achieve business, quality, cost, delivery, and safety objectives.
- Drive operational excellence through productivity improvement, cost optimisation, and process efficiency.
- Manage and optimise manufacturing processes including:
- Press Shop
- CNC Machining
- Plating
- Heat Treatment
- Powder Coating
- Recent Product Development (NPD)
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Ensure adherence to IATF 16949, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Commercial teams.
- Lead capacity planning, manpower planning, budgeting, and capital expenditure projects.
- Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring on-time delivery,



quality compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Mentor and develop senior plant leadership teams.

Candidate Profile

- Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. (Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering)
- Academic Requirement: Minimum 70% throughout B.Tech
- Experience: Minimum 25 years in automotive manufacturing.
- Must have worked as a Plant Head for at least 7 years.
- Experience with Tier-1 or Tier-2 automotive component manufacturers is highly preferred.
- Strong exposure to Press Shop, CNC Machining, Plating, Heat Treatment, Powder Coating, NPD, Quality Systems, and Plant Operations.
- Proven leadership in managing large manufacturing teams and multiple departments.

Compensation

CTC: ₹30 Lakhs – ₹36 Lakhs per annum (Based on experience and competency).

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹3,600,000.00 per year
