Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to oversee and ensure adherence to regulatory and legal requirements, with a strong focus on SEBI’s Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) Regulations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance from the Investment Manager’s perspective, coordinating with external stakeholders, managing documentation, and representing the organization before regulatory authorities. The role requires a proactive individual with deep knowledge of AIF frameworks, fund governance, and regulatory best practices.

Job Location: Delhi

Experience Level: 6-10 Years

Required Qualification:

- CS / LLB / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- Candidates with prior experience in SEBI-registered intermediaries (AIF, PMS, AMC, etc.) will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory Compliance & Advisory

- Ensure ongoing compliance with AIF regulations and other applicable laws.
- Guide and assist internal teams and clients on regulatory and compliance matters.
- Stay updated with SEBI circulars, notifications, and regulatory changes, and ensure timely dissemination.

2. Documentation & Reporting

- Draft and review documentation for submissions to regulatory authorities.




- Prepare and maintain compliance reports, trackers, and internal checklists.
- Act as a liaison for document execution and coordination among various stakeholders.

3. Stakeholder Coordination

- Collaborate with external stakeholders such as law firms, fund administrators, and consultants.
- Provide compliance inputs during transaction structuring and fund operations.
- Engage with regulatory authorities to represent the organization as required.

4. Governance Support

- Attend Investment Committee meetings, prepare IC notes, and draft minutes.
- Support the Investment Manager in maintaining transparency and governance across all operations.

Preferred Skills:

- In-depth understanding of SEBI’s AIF regulations and fund governance norms..
- Solid drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory guidelines in practical business scenarios.
