About the Role

We are hiring an AWS Bedrock AI Development Engineer in India to build and scale production-grade Generative AI and AI Agent solutions using Amazon Bedrock and the AWS cloud ecosystem. This role is highly hands-on and execution-focused. You will work on LLM-powered applications, document intelligence, RAG pipelines, and AI agents used by global enterprise customers, including regulated industries such as life sciences and healthcare.

You will collaborate with global product, architecture, and go-to-market teams and contribute directly to AI solutions that move from prototype to production rapidly.

Key Responsibilities

Generative AI & LLM Engineering

- Design and implement Generative AI applications using Amazon Bedrock (Claude, Titan, Llama, etc.)
- Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
- Develop AI Agents for task automation, orchestration, and decision workflows
- Engineer prompts, system instructions, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks

Document & Knowledge Intelligence

- Build pipelines for document ingestion, OCR, classification, metadata extraction, and summarization
- Implement embedding generation and semantic search using vector databases
- Develop confidence scoring, validation checks, and human-in-the-loop review mechanisms

AWS Cloud & Deployment

- Design scalable architectures using:
AWS Bedrock | Lambda, ECS, EKS, EC2 | S3, DynamoDB, Aurora, OpenSearch | Step Functions, EventBridge, API Gateway
- Deploy solutions using Infrastructure as Code (CDK / Terraform / CloudFormation)
- Monitor performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of AI workloads





Security, Compliance & Quality

- Implement IAM best practices, data isolation, and secure API access
- Support enterprise security and compliance requirements (SOC 2, HIPAA, GxP – exposure preferred)
- Build audit trails, traceability, and explainability for AI outputs
- Implement automated evaluation for accuracy, hallucination risk, and drift

Collaboration & Delivery

- Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, and UX teams across geographies
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint-based delivery
- Contribute reusable components, internal accelerators, and best practices
- Support rapid PoCs and customer demos when required

Required Qualifications

Core Skills

- 3–7+ years of backend or platform engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock
- Strong proficiency in Python (mandatory)
- Experience building LLM-powered systems (RAG, chatbots, AI agents)
- Experience with vector databases (OpenSearch, Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, etc.)
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and asynchronous workflows

AWS Experience

- Strong experience with AWS services: Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, OpenSearch, CloudWatch




- Experience deploying and supporting production workloads on AWS
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Claude / Titan models on Bedrock
- Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks
- Experience in Life Sciences, Healthcare, BFSI, or other regulated industries
- Exposure to AI validation, governance, or responsible AI practices
- Experience integrating AI services with enterprise platforms (Salesforce, Snowflake, ERP)

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or related field
