Job Summary

East Point College of Nursing is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor in the Department of Pediatrics Nursing to contribute to academic excellence, research, student mentorship, and departmental development. The ideal candidate should possess strong teaching, clinical, and research experience in Pediatrics Nursing and be committed to fostering a high-quality learning environment.

Qualification

- M.Sc. Nursing in Pediatrics Nursing (Mandatory)
- Ph.D. in Nursing (Preferred)
- Qualification and experience as per INC/KNC norms.

Experience

- Minimum experience as prescribed by INC/KNC for the post of Professor.
- Prior experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students.
- Experience in research, publications, and academic administration will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver lectures and clinical teaching in Pediatrics Nursing.
- Guide and mentor B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing students.
- Supervise research projects, dissertations, and academic activities.
- Participate in curriculum planning, academic development,



and accreditation activities.
- Contribute to departmental administration and institutional initiatives.
- Maintain academic records and ensure compliance with INC/KNC guidelines.
- Organize seminars, workshops, conferences, and continuing nursing education programs.
- Promote research and publication activities within the department.

Required Skills

- Strong subject knowledge in Pediatrics Nursing.
- Excellent teaching, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Good research and publication record.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in academic documentation and accreditation processes.
