About the Role

We are seeking a creative and highly skilled Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing podcast episodes, short films, YouTube videos, promotional content, and social media reels. The candidate should possess strong storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and the technical expertise to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality content.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit long-form podcast videos for YouTube and other digital platforms.
- Create engaging short-form content, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok videos, and promotional clips.
- Edit short films, documentaries, interviews, and corporate videos.
- Enhance video quality through color correction, color grading, sound balancing, and motion graphics.
- Synchronize audio and video, remove background noise, and improve overall production quality.
- Add subtitles, captions, transitions, animations, and visual effects where appropriate.
- Work closely with producers, directors, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Manage multiple editing projects while meeting strict deadlines.
- Organize and maintain video assets, project files, and content archives.
- Stay updated with industry trends, editing techniques, and social media content strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

- Diploma/Degree in Film Editing, Multimedia, Visual Communication, Media Studies, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience





- Minimum 2 years of experience in skilled video editing.
- Experience editing podcasts, YouTube content, short films, or social media content is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Knowledge of color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics.
- Experience creating social media optimized content.
- Understanding of video formats, codecs, and export settings.

Soft Skills

- Creative storytelling ability.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with cinematic editing styles.
- Knowledge of photography and videography workflows.
- Experience with AI-powered editing tools.
- Basic graphic design skills using Photoshop or Canva.
