- Responsible for designing, building, and repairing all tooling in-house to support a range of product applications across automotive, electrical, telecom, electronic, and electro-mechanical segments (domestic and international).
- Ability to understand complex assemblies and components and convert them into prototype-ready tools while meeting cost and schedule constraints.
- Expertise in sheet metal tool, die, jig, and fixture design in alignment with standard tooling structures.
- Provide tooling solutions as per production requirements and detailed specifications.
- Actively participate in New Product Development (NPD) processes.
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and apply GD&T; principles.
- Conduct simulations and testing to ensure tooling durability and performance.
- Execute cost-effective and effective production methods for tools and dies.
- Review and manage 2D drawings and tooling specifications.
- Provide support for First Article Inspection (FAI), PPAP, and prototyping.
- Skilled in handling DFMEA, PFMEA, and other risk evaluation processes.
- Proficient in Auto CAD, Solid works 2025 & 3D Quick process to suit any customer requirements.
