Roles and Responsibility:

The Clinic Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in an outpatient setting.

- Assess patients by recording medical history, vital signs, and presenting complaints.
- Prepare patients for examination, treatment, and minor procedures.
- Assist physicians during consultations, diagnostic tests, and minor surgical procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, vaccinations, IV therapy, and wound care.
- Perform procedures such as dressing changes, ECGs, nebulization, specimen collection, and suture removal, as permitted by clinic protocols.
- Maintain adequate stock of medical supplies, medications, and emergency equipment,



reporting shortages as needed

Qualifications

- Diploma, GNM, or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing registration with the appropriate nursing council.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- 0–2 years of clinical or outpatient nursing experience.
- Experience in a primary care, specialty clinic, or outpatient department is an advantage.
