ABOUT PLEVID GROUP

Plevid Group is an architectural lighting engineering and project-solutions company working across hospitality, commercial, residential, landscape, façade, infrastructure and public-sector projects.

We are looking for a skilled, responsible and safety-conscious Electrician to support electrical and lighting installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance work at our project sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Carry out electrical wiring, cable laying, termination and connection work.
- Install conduits, cable trays, junction boxes, distribution boards, switches, sockets and related electrical accessories.
- Install indoor, outdoor, landscape, façade and architectural lighting fixtures.
- Connect LED drivers, power supplies, control gear, sensors and lighting-control equipment.
- Perform proper cable dressing, ferruling, labelling, glanding and termination.
- Understand and follow electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, fixture schedules and site instructions.
- Carry out continuity, insulation-resistance, polarity, voltage and earthing tests.
- Use multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers and standard electrical tools correctly.
- Identify and rectify electrical faults, loose connections, short circuits, tripping problems and defective equipment.
- Ensure correct polarity, earthing, waterproof joints and IP protection for outdoor installations.
- Assist engineers during testing, programming, aiming and commissioning of lighting systems.
- Support the installation of basic lighting-control systems, including dimming, DALI and DMX systems, under technical supervision.
- Maintain daily records of work completed,



materials used and pending activities.
- Inform the site supervisor about material shortages, drawing conflicts or unsafe conditions.
- Protect installed luminaires and electrical equipment from damage during ongoing construction.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors and other agencies to complete work on schedule.
- Follow all electrical-safety procedures, including PPE, lockout/tagout and safe isolation before beginning work.
- Maintain company tools and testing equipment in good condition.
- Travel to project sites across Assam and North East India whenever required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- ITI in Electrician or Wireman trade is preferred.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering will be an advantage.
- Valid electrician or wireman licence/permit will be preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of practical experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Experience in architectural lighting, façade lighting, landscape lighting or commercial electrical projects will be an advantage.
- Ability to understand basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Working knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Knowledge of MCBs, RCCBs, DBs, contactors, relays, earthing and electrical-protection devices.
- Familiarity with LED luminaires, drivers, power supplies and basic lighting controls is preferred.
- Ability to use electrical testing instruments safely and correctly.
- Willingness to work at heights using approved safety equipment.




- Willingness to travel and work at different project sites.
- Ability to communicate with supervisors and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic knowledge of Hindi or English is required; Assamese or another North East regional language will be an advantage.
