Senior Cloud Engineer / Server Administrator

Experince: 5-6 years | Location: Hyderabad

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer / Server Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud technologies, server OS administration (Windows and Linux), and web server management (Apache & Tomcat). This role requires a hands-on professional with a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, security, optimization, and server management.

Qualification:

- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong hands-on experience in Windows and Linux server administration.
- Deep understanding of Apache HTTP Server and Tomcat configuration and management.
- Proven expertise in load balancing, cloud optimization, and scalability.
- Solid experience with cloud security practices and tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of automation using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Prometheus, or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities:

- Design, deploy,



and manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring optimization, load balancing, and scalability.
- Ensure high availability and performance of cloud-based applications and services.
- Administer and support Windows and Linux servers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Perform regular system updates, security patches, and backups to ensure optimal server performance./li>
- Implement productive deployment strategies and resolve performance or security issues as needed.
- Ensure security best practices for cloud infrastructure, including access control, firewalls, and encryption.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency for cloud-based infrastructure and on-premises servers.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation of routine administrative tasks (using tools such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for server and cloud deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority technical incidents related to cloud and server environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
