Test Specialist -Newgen -Trade finance

Experience: 6-9yrs

We are seeking an experienced Trade Finance Testing professional to support the implementation and testing of the Newgen Trade Finance solution, integrated with T24 Core Banking. The role will focus on test design, execution, and end to-end validation across multiple trade finance modules delivered in phased tranches during 2026.

Functional Modules in Scope-

- Import Letters of Credit Import LC
- Bank Guarantees
- Export Bills
- Bills Financing

Skills And Competencies :

- Required Skills Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Trade Finance testing Import LC, BG, Export Bills.
- Experience working with Newgen Trade Finance solutions mandatory.
- Positive understanding of T24 Core Banking integration.
- Solid knowledge of Trade Finance lifecycle, SWIFT messages, and regulatory checks.
- Experience in test design, execution, defect management, and UAT support.
- Ability to work in phased delivery models with tight timelines.

Preferred Skills

Banking domain experience in Corporate Retail Trade Finance. Exposure to customer portals and digital trade platforms.

Duties And Responsibility :

- Perform test design and test case preparation based on business requirements and functional specifications.
- Design and execute Sanity, SIT, UAT, and Regression testing for Trade Finance modules.




- Validate end-to-end trade finance workflows across Newgen and T24 integration points.
- Ensure coverage for corporate and retail customer segments, where applicable.
- Execute testing on migrated data and newly created test data.
- Validate EOD, intraday, and periodic batch processing in SITUAT environments.
- Support UAT execution and business user handholding, including defect triage and retesting.
- Coordinate with business, development, integration, and data migration teams.
- Track, manage, and report defects, test progress, and quality metrics.
- Ensure testing aligns with tranche-wise delivery milestones and timelines
