Job Description – Operations Supervisor (F&V; Industry)Position Overview

The Operations Supervisor will oversee daily operations in the Fruits & Vegetables (F&V;) division, ensuring smooth handling of procurement, storage, quality control, and distribution. The role requires robust leadership, process management, and compliance with industry standards to maintain efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Management: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of fruits and vegetables.

Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage warehouse operations, and ensure proper storage conditions.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality checks to maintain freshness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety standard

Team Supervision: Lead and train staff in handling, packaging, and dispatch operations.

Logistics Coordination: Oversee transportation schedules, route planning, and timely delivery to clients/customers.

Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to company policies,



safety regulations, and prepare operational reports for management.

Process Improvement: Identify gaps in operations and recommend efficiency-enhancing measures.

Qualifications

Graduate in Agriculture, Food Technology, Supply Chain, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in operations, preferably in the F&V; or FMCG industry

Strong knowledge of food safety standards and cold chain management

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Skills Required

Leadership and team management.

Analytical thinking for problem-solving and decision-making.

Communication skills to coordinate with vendors, staff, and management.

Time management and ability to work under pressure.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
