Job Profile: Senior Accountant – Accountability & Performance Role

Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Kochi Branch

Core Accountability Areas

1. Branch Operational Control

- Fully responsible for overall monitoring of Kochi branch operations
- Ensure all office activities are conducted in a controlled, effective, and compliant manner

2. Sales & Order Monitoring

- Daily supervision of Sales WhatsApp group
- Ensure all incoming orders are properly reviewed, recorded, and processed without delay

3. Credit Control Responsibility

- Sole responsibility to evaluate and approve/reject credit facility for customers
- Decisions must be strictly based on ledger analysis and company credit policies
- Any deviation will be held accountable

4. Ledger Accuracy & Maintenance

- Ensure 100% accuracy of customer and vendor ledgers
- All entries must be updated on time without errors

5. Payment Collection Target (Mandatory KPI)

- Weekly collection target: ₹20,00,000 (20 Lakhs)
- Continuous follow-up with customers to achieve collection targets
- Any shortfall must be justified with valid reasons

6. Receivables & Payment Monitoring

- Strict tracking of outstanding payments
- Ensure proper allocation and reconciliation of all receipts

7. Credit Note / Debit Note Control





- Issue credit/debit notes only with proper supporting documents
- Unauthorized or unsupported adjustments will be treated as non-compliance

8. Query Resolution Responsibility

- Resolve all customer and vendor ledger-related queries promptly
- No pending financial clarifications

9. Payment Initiation Control

- Vendor payments must be initiated only after proper verification of ledger and dues
- Ensure no excess or incorrect payments

10. Daily Closing Accountability

- Ensure complete and proper daily office closing
- Confirm all operational activities are completed
- Ensure all company vehicles have returned and are accounted for

Reporting Responsibility

Monthly Management Report (Mandatory)

- Submit a detailed monthly report to management including:
- Collection performance vs target
- Outstanding receivables status
- Credit approvals given
- Key issues and risk areas
- Report must be accurate, transparent, and submitted on time

Performance & Accountability Clause

- This role carries full accountability for financial control, collections, and operational discipline of the branch
- Failure to meet targets, delays in reporting, or negligence in duties will be subject to management review and necessary action

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
