Role Overview

The Finance Controller / Finance Manager must be a Chartered Accountant / CA Intern and will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end financial operations, driving cost optimization initiatives, and supporting commercial decision-making across the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on financial management experience, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to improve financial efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Controllership & Oversight

- Lead financial controllership activities, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and solid commercial oversight across business units.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives by analyzing spending patterns and identifying inefficiencies.

Expense Management & Budgeting

- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes for all group entities aligned with organizational goals.
- Monitor expenses vs. budgets and provide detailed variance analysis for leadership decision-making.





Vendor & Merchant Fee Optimization

- Evaluate vendor contracts and negotiate improved commercial terms.
- Review and optimize credit card merchant fees to reduce financial overhead.

Technology & Process Improvement

- Implement and manage financial tools such as Zaggle, ERP systems, and reporting dashboards.
- Continuously improve financial processes, automation, and workflow efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Collaborate with HR, Admin, and Operations teams to align financial strategies.
- Partner with venture finance teams to analyze project spends and support capital allocation decisions.

Must-Have Skills

- Strong knowledge of Compliance: Gift City, Income Tax, GST, RBI, FEMA, ROC, SEZ
- Proficiency in ERP systems: Zoho Books, QuickBooks
- Experience in MIS Reporting & FP&A; (Financial Planning & Analysis)
- Familiarity with AI tools for finance automation and reporting
- Strong presentation & communication skills with confidence in stakeholder interactions
