Responsibilities

- Validate and reconcile data across multiple datasets, reports, and source systems.
- Identify, analyze, and document data variances and discrepancies.
- Perform root cause analysis by investigating SQL queries, stored procedures, and backend data logic.
- Verify report outputs against business requirements and source systems.
- Collaborate closely with Developers and stakeholders to resolve data-related issues.




- Execute functional testing and data validation testing for reporting solutions.
- Prepare detailed test documentation, including test results, findings, and defect reports.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across reporting platforms.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to reporting and data validation processes.

RequirementsMust-Have Skills

- 3 to 6 years of experience in QA, Data Validation, or Reporting Quality Assurance roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL including complex queries, joins, CTEs, aggregations, stored procedures, and data analysis.
- Intermediate knowledge of Power BI, including report validation and understanding of data models.
- Experience in data reconciliation, data quality testing, and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Robust communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other defect management tools.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Exposure to Insurance reporting domain is an added advantage.
