Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities - FATP Process
- Develop and establish FATP (Final Assembly, Test & Pack) processes for automotive products
- Define SOPs, control plans, and work instructions as per automotive standards
- Support NPI and ensure smooth product launch with PPAP requirements
- Ensure full traceability (serial number, batch, date code) across assembly and testing
- Implement and control end-of-line (EOL) testing and validation processes
- Analyze test failures and perform root cause analysis using 8D/5 Why
- Improve FPY, reduce defects, and ensure zero-defect mindset (Poka-Yoke)
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards like IATF 16949 and customer requirements
- Validate test equipment, fixtures, and poka-yoke systems for reliability
- Coordinate with quality, design, and customer teams for issue resolution
- Ensure proper handling of MSL, ESD, and critical components during assembly
- Maintain detailed documentation (PFMEA, control plan, traceability records, reports)
