The Site Engineer (Interior Fit-out) is responsible for supervising daily operations on-site, managing subcontractors, and ensuring that all interior works—including civil, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), carpentry, and finishing—are completed according to technical drawings, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Technical Supervision & Execution

- Interpret detailed architectural drawings, sections, and shop drawings for in office execution.
- Supervise all fit-out activities: partition walling, false ceilings, flooring, joinery, and specialized finishes.
- Ensure that MEP services are integrated seamlessly with the interior design elements.
- Conduct precise site measurements and "as-built" surveys to verify that site conditions match the design intent.

2. Project Coordination & Management

- Coordinate with sub-contractors (carpenters, electricians, painters) to maintain the project timeline.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports (DPRs) highlighting milestones and potential bottlenecks.
- Manage the delivery and storage of high-value materials (marble, veneers,



glass) to prevent damage or wastage.
- Raise Request for Information (RFI) when discrepancies are found between drawings and site conditions.

3. Quality Control & Safety

- Conduct rigorous quality checks at every stage (e.g., leveling of flooring, alignment of joinery, paint finish quality).
- Ensure all works comply with local building codes, fire safety regulations, and health and safety (HSE) standards.
- Minimize material wastage through careful planning and precise cutting lists.

Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or Construction Management.
- Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD (for drawing review) and MS Project or Excel (for scheduling).
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of interior materials, finishing techniques, and the sequence of fit-out works.
