Position: Senior Staff Accountant – General Accounting

Experience Required: 3–5 Years

Qualification:

- - B.Com / M.Com
- CA Inter / ACCA / CPA (preferred)
- Strong experience in end-to-end accounting operations for Non-Profit

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on Senior Staff Accountant to support multi-entity accounting operations across international regions. The role requires strong expertise in General Ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, and overall accounting operations within a structured and compliance-driven environment.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing accounting activities, identifying process gaps, and supporting stabilization during transition and onboarding phases.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing (US)

- - Employee setup & payroll policies
- Validate & enter Data
- Calculate Payroll (Gross to Net)
- Process Payments
- File Compliance and Reporting

Accounts Payable (AP)

- - Review and process supplier invoices and expense reports
- Validate approvals, coding, and supporting documents
- Vendor reconciliations and issue resolution
- Support payment processing and controls

Accounts Receivable (AR)

- - Manage invoicing and receivable tracking
- Cash application and reconciliation
- Support collections follow-ups and dispute resolution

General Ledger (GL)





- - Prepare and review journal entries
- Perform complex bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Handle intercompany reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Maintain accounting schedules and supporting documentation

Compliance & Reporting

- - Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
- Support audit requirements and documentation requests
- Assist in financial reporting and variance analysis

Required Skills

- - Strong expertise in:
- AP / AR / GL processes
- Month-end close
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently in a multi-entity setting
- Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset

System Exposure

Preferred experience with:

- - QuickBooks
- ERP/accounting systems

Additional Expectations

- - Comfortable working across multiple geographies and entities
- Ability to support transition and stabilization activities
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience in outsourcing/shared services environment preferred

Preferred Candidate Profile

- - Strong operational accounting background
- Ability to manage complex accounting scenarios independently
- Exposure to international / multi-country accounting environments preferred
