Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Backend Developer with 1–2 years of experience in building scalable server-side applications using Node.js and Python. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of backend development, REST APIs, database design using Supabase (PostgreSQL), and a basic understanding of AI-powered applications and up-to-date AI development tools.

The candidate will be responsible for developing secure and efficient backend services, designing database architectures, integrating third-party APIs, and supporting AI-driven features where required.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js, Express.js, Python, Fast API/Django.
- Design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Design and manage databases using Supabase (PostgreSQL).
- Write optimized SQL queries, database functions, and manage relationships.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, authentication services, and cloud storage.
- Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, or Supabase Auth.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and project managers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow backend development best practices.
- Work on AI-powered backend features such as chatbot APIs, AI workflows, automation, and LLM integrations.
- Stay updated with the latest backend technologies, database improvements, and AI trends.

Requirements:





- 1–2 years of experience in Backend Development.
- Strong knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, Python, Fast API/Django.
- Experience in building and consuming REST APIs.
- Good understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with Supabase (PostgreSQL) for database design and management.
- Strong SQL knowledge (joins, indexing, query optimization, transactions).
- Experience with authentication (JWT, OAuth, or Supabase Auth).
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub and version control.
- Basic understanding of API security, error handling, and backend architecture.
- Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
- Basic understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and AI API integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.).
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and deliver projects on time.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Supabase Edge Functions.
- Nice to have experience with MongoDB.
- Knowledge of WebSockets or real-time applications.
- Experience with Redis or caching mechanisms.
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Basic knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience integrating AI APIs into backend services.
- Understanding of vector databases, embeddings, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.
- Experience working on SaaS products or AI-powered applications.
