We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive with 1–2 years of experience in procurement and vendor management. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely procurement to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Generate and process purchase orders as per organizational requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
- Track order status and follow up with suppliers for on-time deliveries.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.
- Resolve issues related to supply delays, quality concerns, and invoice discrepancies.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 6m-1 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (TCSION, Tally, or similar).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good analytical and organizational abilities.
