About the Role

Sabali Cafe & Bakery is looking for a disciplined, fast, and detail-oriented Line Chef who thrives during busy service. You’ll take full ownership of your station, execute every dish with consistency and precision, and contribute to a kitchen built on craftsmanship, teamwork, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and stock your station before every service to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Execute all menu items precisely according to Sabali’s recipes, standards, and presentation.
- Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including deck ovens, grills, fryers, and other production equipment.
- Maintain consistency in flavour, portion size, temperature, and plating on every order.
- Communicate effectively with chefs, bakers, baristas, and the front-of-house team to deliver seamless service.
- Follow strict FSSAI food safety standards, FIFO inventory rotation, and daily hygiene procedures.
- Keep your station clean, organised, and service-ready throughout the shift.
- Complete opening, closing, and deep-cleaning duties to Sabali’s operational standards.




- Minimise food waste and report inventory shortages or equipment issues promptly.
- Support the kitchen team wherever needed during peak service.

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional commercial kitchen.
- Experience in cafés, bakeries, brunch restaurants, or artisan kitchens is preferred.
- Strong knife skills and confidence with core cooking techniques.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining accuracy under pressure.
- Excellent time management and strong attention to detail.
- Physically fit to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 20 kg.
- Reliable, punctual, humble, and eager to learn.
- Takes pride in cleanliness, consistency, and teamwork.
