An Interior Site Engineer is responsible for supervising interior fit-out works at site, ensuring quality execution, adherence to drawings, timelines, and coordination with vendors, contractors, and designers.
Key Responsibilities1. Site Execution & Supervision
- Execute interior works as per approved drawings and specifications
- Supervise carpentry, false ceiling, painting, flooring, electrical, and finishing works
- Ensure work is completed as per project schedule
2. Drawing & Design Coordination
- Understand and interpret working drawings (2D/3D)
- Coordinate with interior designers, architects, and consultants
- Resolve site issues with proper technical solutions
3. Quality Control
- Monitor workmanship and material quality
- Ensure finishes meet design standards
- Conduct regular site inspections
4. Material Management
- Estimate material requirements
- Track material usage and minimize wastage
- Coordinate with procurement team/vendors
5. Vendor & Labor Management
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams
- Ensure proper workforce allocation
- Monitor productivity and performance
6. Site Documentation
- Maintain daily progress reports (DPR)
- Record site measurements and work status
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) if required
7. Safety Compliance
- Ensure safety standards are followed on site
- Conduct basic safety checks
