A PRT English teacher is responsible for teaching English language skills to primary school students (usually Grade 1 to Grade 5). The role focuses on building a strong foundation in reading, writing, speaking, and basic grammar in a fun and engaging way.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach basic English language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and listening

Develop students’ vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence formation

Prepare age-appropriate lesson plans and learning activities

Use creative teaching methods like stories, rhymes, games, and visual aids

Conduct regular assessments, tests, and assignments

Monitor and evaluate students’ progress

Maintain a positive, safe, and interactive classroom environment

Encourage participation and boost students’ confidence





Communicate regularly with parents about student development

Participate in school events, activities, and meetings

Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in English or Education)

Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or B.Ed

CTET/TET qualification (as per school or government requirements)

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
