Job Description

General Summary of role: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Playwright Automation Tester with 3–4 years of experience in web application testing and automation

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand feature requirements and create robust test plans.
- Execute test cases, report defects, and follow through with resolution and verification.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test coverage and reliability
- Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks and test suites.




- Write and maintain test documentation and reports.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

- Test automation using Playwright (JavaScript or TypeScript). Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM).
- Experience with test frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or TestNG.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Good knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control (Git).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Exposure to Angular or React applications.

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Automation Tools (e.g., ISTQB, Playwright, Selenium) are a plus.
