Hiring: Java Technical Lead

Location: Kochi, Kerala

Thinking Code Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable backend systems. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, architecture ownership, and engineering mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the technical design and architecture of scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Write, review, and maintain high-quality, well-tested Java code.
- Guide the team through project delivery and technical decision-making.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to deliver effective technical solutions.
- Drive engineering excellence in testing, CI/CD, security, observability, and clean coding practices.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, technical debt, and production issues.
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and fostering a strong engineering culture.





Required Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of qualified software development experience with strong Java expertise.
- Deep knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and related technologies.
- Experience designing and developing Microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and system design.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems is preferred.
